Hey there, Happy Passey Clan!
I apologize for the getting this out too late for some of you but as you all know, the reunion is always every even numbered year on the same weekend, 4th of July!!!!
This year, we have the facility from the 1st(Thursday) through the 4th (Sunday). It will be at the same place as last time. Silver Creek campground, up north near Taylor. This turned out well because it was close to town, we can still enjoy the fireworks, and have some water fun as well.
I am looking for comittee members to volunteer to assist me with all the arrangements. I need Committee Chairmans for the following catagories:
Communication (email, invitations, updates, and written itinerary)
Activities (games, crafts, water toys, etc..)
Food (organize assignments for cooking and cleaning up for each meal, food will be provided)Finance (collecting all the funds from each family, distributing the money and balancing the family budget)
T-shirts
We may need more assistance as we get going and will need plenty of members on each team.
After I get the committee chairmans, we will need volunteers for the full committee. Please let me know what you might like to do to help us make this the best year yet. Our numbers are growing and it won't be long before we hit 100 people. As always, our goal will be to get as many people as possible to attend. This will always be a semi yearly event, and we are so gratefuly to those of you who make this a priority. Thanks for your contributions and for your continued support as we learn to love each other more and more.
It is being estimated that the cost of the reunion will be $30 per person. The facility alone costs us $3.00 per person per night, that is a cost of $9.00 per person for the facility. This will include the kitchen, the bathrooms, canoes, running water and the campground. The additional $21.00 per person will include family T-shirt, all food (meals only, please bring snacks to share), crafts and entertainment. This is a very tight budget and we are trying to keep the cost down so that everyone will attend. The fee is charged for every person 3 and older, for children ages 2 and under, there will be no charge.
I am going to open an account at the bank for all family reunion funds. I will send out a future notice for paypal or you can send payment to my mailing address. I would like to set it up so you can start making payments now,that way the cost will not be such a burden at the end for everyone. Keep in mind, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE, should money be a reason for you not to attend. If you would like to attend, but cannot afford, please contact either Grandpa Passey or myself and we will work something out. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! do not use finances as a reason not to attend. We are so thrilled at the previous attendance, and understand your circumstances, so please make this family reunion a priority for you and your families. We would love to see 100% there, wouldn't that be amazing.
Our theme this year is "Dancing with the Stars". Do with it as you wish. We are planning some really fun and exciting activities and entertainment. We are open to ideas and any input you may have. Let your creative juices flow, and share any ideas you may have. The stars are out on summer nights up north, we can do so many things with this theme. Please share any ideas you have and we'll try to incorporate as much as possible. Again, mark this weekend down, request the time off work, re-arrange if you have to, but please make time for your family.

Hey, would someone be able to post the whole family picture, the one with all of us looking and in our red shirts? I want to print it off and I don't have a copy.
