2nd Annual Passey Family Reunion

We are starting to plan our 2nd Annual Passey Family Reunion. Uncle Stephen is the Reunion Coordinator. I will try to do a committee list soon and see who would like to participate in a committee. The date we are starting to plan is the 4th of July weekend up here in Taylor at Silver creek campground. I don't know all the details yet but it is suppose to be a campground and a place to bring your quads and RV(if you have them). You can camp or get a hotel and we will hold our festivies at the campground. Please give me an idea if this will work for all or none of you. And we will do our best to accommodate.

Coco Puff Chaos

Okay so this is one of those moments where you don't know if you want to laugh or cry and you certainly entertain the idea of making them eat their food from the floor. Garrett has broken more dishes and spilled more food/drinks than any one child in an entire lifetime. This wasn't just a spill....it was more of a coco puff explosion. The pictures don't even begin to explain the madness!

Raspberry Cream Cheese Bars

We tried a new recipe on Sunday and we loved it. You can find the recipe here. I did have to make one adjustment to it though. I baked it for more like 45 minutes. After 30 it was still too gooey in the middle and it wasn't setting up. Maybe it was just my oven so I would say check it after 30 and see. Any way it was a big hit at our house. If you try it and love it too I'd like to know.

Am I the ONLY one sitting at home, in dangerous proximity to a bathroom, imagining (or not) the smell of butt wafting into the closet/office, missing my date night (and husband), trying to convince oneself that Arbonne's detox tea tastes good, all alone on a friday night???

Come ON! I cannot be the only one.

And in case you were wondering. . .it tastes frighteningly similar to the way I imagine alphalpha and wood steeped in water would taste.

I've created this blog to replace the passey family reunion site. Each member of the family that wishes to contribute is 100% welcome to be an author here.

I know many of us have blogs already so this will be a lot about basics. Baby was born? Blog it here. Moving from boston to Arizona? blog it here!

Decided to give up the wordly life and make a vow of celebacy and join the monks in Siberia, by all means, blog it here!

One thing to note, this blog is not for airing dirty laundry. This is about family and light hearted fun and keeping tabs on all our favorite passey people.

I would also love to post family recipes here. Something we all make and love, or something you've tried and love, post it here and label it "recipe"

When you blog here, you can put your name in the label section as well so that searching within this blog will be simple.

Christmas letters we all send out? Perfect place for them! If a family member we know does not have a blog but has an announcement, this is a great place for it too.
